TBWA\\Chiat\\Day is looking for a Budget Analyst. This person will utilize appropriate accounting control procedures and principles of accounting to assist with financial reporting and analysis.Essential Duties And Responsibilities Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures Analyze and review budgets and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels, and ensure expenditure control Explain billing invoices and accounting policies to staff, vendors, and clients Resolve accounting discrepancies Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits Assist in preparation of profit and loss statements and monthly closing and cost accounting reports Prior experience with payroll analysis preferable Other duties as assigned Communication Skills Good oral and written communication skills Qualifications Minimum of bachelor's degree in accounting At least 1 year of prior experience Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, sumif, if etc.) ? will be tested Knowledge of accounting, finance, budgeting and cost control principles including GAAP Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications preferable (AX Dynamics, HFM) Alignment with TBWA\\Chiat\\Day ValuesOur ambition is to create ideas for our clients that lift their businesses and brands.
