Reports To: Director, Financial Planning & Analysis
The Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) will be responsible for forecasting, budgeting, and influencing multiple P&L line items for Beauty North America, including Store and Digital channels. The position is expected to perform complex ad hoc analysis on a regular basis, assist in special projects, support the development of presentation materials for executive leadership, and continuously identify opportunities for process improvements.
* Managing the P&L with a firm understanding of each line from Sales through OI * Perform weekly financial analysis and review * Obtain and organize data warehouse information for business analysis and reporting * Develop financial models and reports that are flexible, accurate, and clearly present key findings and assumptions * Participate in the monthly Financial Close process * Develop strong cross functional partnerships and provide excellent customer service * Clearly articulate and present ideas, explanations, and analytical findings to senior leadership * Maintain strong internal controls * Independently solve problems * Meet deadlines and handle multiple objectives in a fast-paced environment * Utilize large-scale accounting and financial systems (SAP, Hyperion, EDW (data warehouse), etc.) * Ad Hoc analysis owner
* Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; MBA a plus * 3-5 years of financial analysis or merchandise planning experience in consumer products or specialty retail industries * Strong problem-solving skills * Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks/projects * Demonstrated leadership skills and strong interest in advancement * Ability to work in a dynamic, fast changing environment * Comfortable with environment of change and group decision making * Ability to work with various levels of management throughout the organization * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Advanced PC skill proficiency including Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
